No. Even after approval, we cannot guarantee that you will receive work. Wave operates in multiple areas, but demand varies by location and time. In some areas, we may not have consistent or immediate work available. While you are free to decline any offers we send, we only want to approve drivers who are genuinely committed to working when opportunities arise.

Unlike other platforms, we invest significant time, money, and energy into our driver background checks and onboarding process. We want to ensure that every approved driver is ready and willing to work, so our resources are not wasted on people who don’t intend to drive.

You have the flexibility to accept or decline any job we send you. However, this is not the same as having work available 24/7. Opportunities depend on customer demand in your area, and there may be times when no jobs are available.

We believe in being transparent about how refunds work:

Full Refund – If you are certified, have paid, but do not receive any work within 90 days.

Full Refund – If you fail the background check.

We value our drivers and invest heavily in their onboarding process. These policies ensure that we are fair to drivers while also protecting the resources we spend on background checks and certifications.

Once your certification is approved and your background check clears, you can start driving within 48-72 hours. For Platinum and Silver drivers, we expedite verification and support to help you hit the road even faster. 

Free-tier applicants may experience slightly longer wait times due to standard queue processing.
